Pick up the juiciest and freshest bunch of grapes from the Farmer’s Market or from your favorite fruit selling the shop. Put them in a container or freezer bag and stow away in the fridge.
Once frozen, indulge and enjoy this simple yet healthy snack. And as the grapes are frozen, eating them might take some time which leads you to stretch out your own snack time!
One of the good things about frozen grapes is that it almost requires no effort from your part at all! It’s easy peasy! And once you get a taste of this frozen fruit, it’s like eating grape sherbet but minus the dairy and the calories!
2. Skinny Popcorn
If you are a vegan on a diet who is in the mood for some popcorn, you can actually make your own! Making this is actually very easy! All you need are:
- ½ cup (70g) popcorn kernels
- 3 tbsp (36g) granulated sugar
- ½ tsp coconut oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- In a small bowl, combine your popcorn kernels, sugar and salt. Once done, set aside as you prep for the popping part.
- Place a medium-sized pot over medium heat. Add coconut oil.
- Before pouring the popcorn kernel mix, take three kernels and add it to the pot to check if it’s hot enough and ready to go.
- Once the test run is successful, pour all the popcorn kernels in the pot. Don’t forget to cover with a lid.
- When the popcorn kernels are inside the pot, shake every two to three seconds.
- If kernels have popped, turn the stove off and transfer your DIY popcorn into a large bowl. Before enjoying the popcorn, observe proper caution! These popped kernels could be burning hot! Enjoy!
Here is one fruit that is something that you should add to your list of low-calorie snacks! Watermelons are composed of 92% water and a lot of nutrients. It’s also packed with flavor!
As it has high water content, eating watermelons can help fill up your hungry tummy in between meals. If you eat two cups of watermelon, you only get about 40 calories! Apart from that, you also get loads of Vitamin C, A, and B6!
If watermelons are in season, take advantage of this! f you are snacking on watermelons in the summer, may I suggest putting them in the fridge or in the freezer?
