  • ¼ tsp salt
  1. In a small bowl, combine your popcorn kernels, sugar and salt. Once done, set aside as you prep for the popping part.
  2. Place a medium-sized pot over medium heat.  Add coconut oil.
  3. Before pouring the popcorn kernel mix, take three kernels and add it to the pot to check if it’s hot enough and ready to go.
  4. Once the test run is successful, pour all the popcorn kernels in the pot. Don’t forget to cover with a lid.
  5. When the popcorn kernels are inside the pot, shake every two to three seconds.
  6. If kernels have popped, turn the stove off and transfer your DIY popcorn into a large bowl. Before enjoying the popcorn, observe proper caution! These popped kernels could be burning hot!  Enjoy!
