So, can you really lose fat by sweating? Well, not so much. While sweating alone doesn’t burn a significant amount of calories, you can temporarily drop water weight by sweating out liquids. 

When you drink more water or eat after working out, this lost water weight is quickly regained. 

The good news is, sweating is typically a sign that you’re burning calories. And remember, the key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in. 

Another benefit of sweating is that you release toxins from your skin which helps keep your immune system strong.
